About the Artist

Contemporary Textile and acrylic Artist

LYCK ART is created from home, in the small pockets of time that everyday life allows.

I work with textile, acrylic, colour and texture, creating abstract pieces by hand. My work is intuitive and tactile, often developing slowly as I explore how different materials, colours and forms work together.

For me, the process is just as important as the finished piece. There is something special about creating something with your hands, one small step at a time.

LYCK ART is about finding beauty in simplicity, texture and the unexpected — and creating pieces that feel at home in a modern space.

Testimonials

Kind words from collectors who have welcomed Lyck Art into their homes or workplaces.

It has been a pleasure to host Anne Lyck at Oticon and the Demant Art Society. She has a strongly appealing sense of color, an exciting understanding of space and geometry, and an ability to capture the many facets of human emotion. You can feel that the works are created with insight, and that her playful approach gives them a vivid and present atmosphere

Oticon and Demant Art Society – Søren Stahlhut Barder

We really do enjoy looking at it every day, and everyone who comes to visit and sees it thinks it’s such a beautiful piece of art. It fits perfectly into our home.

I’ve thought a lot about how much I see my husband and myself in the painting.

Me on the right, with lots of thoughts, a lot of energy and, at times, a few too many things going on at once. And Søren on the left, who is more calm and grounded, and very good at staying calm in hectic and stressful situations.

Together, our differences complement each other really well. And I truly feel there was a reason why it was exactly us who were meant to have this piece in our home.

We love that these stories are stitched one loop at a time, proving that creativity doesn’t need perfect conditions. Sometimes it simply grows in the small moments we carve out for ourselves.

Her work reminds us that yarn can become so much more than a knitting or crochet project. It can become texture, colour, emotion and art.
